The article is devoted to the analysis of the mental health problem in Europe and the measures implemented by state authorities and organizations of different levels in the EU. Mental health is a welfare state with the ability to realize its own potential, when a person is able to cope with normal tensions of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and can contribute to his community. The statistics show that the mental health of the population in the world, in particular the EU and Ukraine, is catastrophically poor and requires united effort and immediate comprehensive measures, since neuroses today afflict 85% of the world's population and 16% of the world's population have mental health disorders. Therefore, the EU has made significant efforts to improve the mental health of the population, including diverse programs for the prevention and prevention of mental disorders and the improvement of medical care and the social integration of people with mental disorders, the promotion of mental health and well-being in Europe, etc. The Joint Mental Health and Well-being (JA MH-WB) includes 51 partners and is aimed at building a framework for mental health policies. It is developed within the framework of the European Pact on Mental Health and Welfare for the financing of the European Agency for Healthcare and Consumers. Their actions are related to the promotion of mental health at workplaces, in schools; Facilitating the fight against depression and suicide and the implementation of e-health approaches; development of mental health for people with severe mental disorders, covering social and social integration; promoting the integration of mental health into all areas of policy.
