The article is devoted to the study of typological features of the personal structure of the unemployed. The research is based on the assumption that taking into account the specific features of the personal structure of the unemployed will provide an understanding of the psychological conditions, patterns and ways of constructively overcoming the negative psychological effects of professional exclusion (unemployment). Taking into account this aspect will allow to design effective technologies of psychological support of the unemployed, aimed at overcoming the negative consequences of their professional exclusion and increasing tolerance to this critical situation. In the course of the study, an empirical typology of the unemployed was obtained, according to the characteristics of their personal structure. The first type is formed by the unemployed with a high level of internal and semantic personal disposition, but low level of professional personal disposition; the second type – by the unemployed with a high level of professional personal disposition; the third type – by the unemployed with a low level of internal and professional personal disposition; the fourth type – by the unemployed with low level semantic personal disposition. It is assumed that the content-procedural and effective parameters of overcoming the crisis of employment by the unemployed will be determined primarily by typological features of their personal structure.
