FEATURES OF MORAL SPHERE OF YOUTH WITH DIFFERENT LEVELS OF INTERNET ADDICTION

Abstract

The article analyzes the problem of moral development of personality. Violation of moral norms that are accepted in society leads to the appearance of deviations, deviations in human emotions, thinking and behavior. The spread of information and computer technologies in society creates risks of Internet addiction among young people. The authors hypothesize that the majority of girls and boys are not ready for humane interaction with information technologies. In this regard, a study of the moral and ethical responsibility of young people was conducted, and the level of their Internet addiction was also determined. The sample was made up of 72 respondents of adolescent age (40 girls and 32 boys).

The results of the study showed that in young people (adolescence) different levels of Internet addiction have been identified: lack of addiction, risk group for addiction, Internet addiction. Young people also had different levels of moral and ethical responsibility of the individual. A comparative analysis of the data allowed us to establish the existence of a relationship between a low level of moral and ethical responsibility and the presence of Internet addiction.
