AGE SPECIFICITY OF THE EXPERIENCE OF PSYCHO-TRAUMATIC EVENTS BY MIGRANT CHILDREN

The article is devoted to the problem of overcoming psycho-traumatic consequences caused by military aggression on the territory of Ukraine. An analysis of the general situation of internal migration processes in Ukraine and in the Rivne region in particular was carried out. The main directions of the strategy of providing psychological support to internally displaced persons, in particular children, by the efforts of teachers of specialized departments and students of the Rivne State University for the Humanities are outlined. The essence of psycho-emotional problems of internally displaced persons, both children and adults, is described. The main causes of stress in children are summarized. The article analyses peculiarities of children’s experience of psycho-traumatic situations. Features of behavioural manifestations of children who have experienced traumatic experiences are described, taking into account their age. In particular, an analysis of psycho-emotional and behavioural manifestations in children of pre-school, primary school and adolescence is presented. The author substantiated the need for early rehabilitation and timely assistance for this category of children. Identified key strategic interventions for children who have experienced psycho-traumatic events.
