The article is devoted to the computer adaptation of F. Hoppe's technique (methodology). The author's original texts are studied and it is established that this is a technique (technique) for studying a single case - “case study”, which has a purely individual focus on the study of the concept of “level of aspirations” introduced by the researcher. However, it has been established that the proposed methodology can be widely used not only in individual studies, but also in group studies. It is proposed to study human life strategies under conditions of uncertainty on the basis of the results of the study of the “level of aspirations” and a computer adaptation of the methodology for group research has been developed, which consists of three components: technical, content and organizational. The technical component is presented as a description and development of automation of the experimenter's actions; the content part as the development and selection of stimulus material; the organizational component as automation of processing and storage of data obtained during the testing process. It was decided to divide the survey into testing options by spheres of life, which respondents freely choose. The basic block was defined as the intellectual sphere, the humanitarian sphere, the natural sphere, and an additional block: the social sphere and the sphere of information technology. At the same time, in addition to the test, a training mode was provided, which reduces the initial frustration and prepares the respondent for the tasks. There are certain time limits for taking the test, but the time frame is not disclosed to the respondents, which allows the test to be as close as possible to the conditions of an uncertainty situation. It was decided to mix the tasks in terms of difficulty to avoid monotony during the test. It has been established that as a result of trial testing with a decrease in the level of uncertainty, the way of action and expectations of the next own action change, which reflects the original purpose of the methodology by its author, which we record as a change in strategy. It was found that thorough instructions are not perceived by modern young respondents. To avoid misunderstanding of the tasks, the test instructions were simplified, and its main accents were highlighted by color and font size. In addition, a video instruction was created in the form of a short video. It is proposed to place the test results in a “.csv” table, each line of which corresponds to the test results of a particular subject.
This use of F. Hoppe's methodology, firstly, brings the Hoppe technique as close as possible to its original purpose - to study the level of aspirations, which in turn allows us to study the strategies that arise from them. At the same time, Hoppe's methodology becomes sufficiently modernized and allows the study of a single case to be investigated with a high degree of statistical reliability.
