Abstract

Psychological support in children's sports is an important tool for ensuring the emotional and mental well-being of children involved in sports. It includes an individual approach to each child, the development of internal motivation, assistance in overcoming stressful situations, as well as support in social adaptation and interaction in a sports team. Psychological support contributes to the formation of healthy self-esteem, emotional stability and helps children cope with difficulties that arise during training and competitions. An important aspect is working with parents and coaches to ensure the harmonious development of the child. Psychological support allows you to optimize the process of sports training and minimize the negative impact of stress, which is important for achieving success and supporting the overall well-being of young athletes. main aspects of psychological support for children in sports: support for motivation; overcoming stress and anxiety; development of social skills; development of emotional stability; psychological preparation for failures and defeats; individual approach and psychological support; psychological rehabilitation after injuries; development of concentration and attention; work with parents and coaches; preparation for adult sports. The process of psychological support for children in sports can be divided into several stages, each of which has its own characteristics and tasks. The following stages are revealed: preparatory stage (assessment of psychological state, preparation for training, formation of initial motivation), adaptation stage (social adaptation, emotional support, individual support), stage of development of motivation and psychological resilience (working with motivation, development of psychological resilience, support of a positive self-image), stage of optimization of results (analysis of achievements, correction of psychological barriers, psychological support during competitions), stage of rehabilitation after injuries and stressful situations (rehabilitation after injuries, psychological recovery after stressful situations), stage of professionalization (work with high demands, preparation for international level competitions, support of long-term sports careers)
