DYNAMICS OF VALUABLE ORIENTATIONS OF STUDENTS-PSYCHOLOGISTS AT EDUCATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTE

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of psychological peculiarities of value orientations of students-psychologists. The analysis of the concepts of "values" and "value orientations" is carried out, the influence of the system of value orientations on the formation of the personality of the young person, his further life orientation is determined. The psychological peculiarities of student youth and their interrelation with dominant value orientations are analyzed. The results of empirical research, which follows the dynamics of value orientations of students-psychologists of the first and fourth year courses, are presented. The impact of the requirements of the future profession on the content of the system of value orientations has been studied. It is established that the system of value orientations is a dynamic entity, influenced both by external and internal factors, one of which is learning. If at the beginning of the study students demonstrate an orientation towards active life, freedom, entertainment, and the establishment of friendly ties, at the end of training among the terminal values, material security, interesting work, love, happy family life, public recognition prevails. Among the instrumental values ​​of the first-year students are the actualized ones: independence, high queries, cheerfulness, courage in advocating opinions, while in the upper course students are dominated by self-control, breadth of perspectives, tolerance, and performance. The emergence of the position of a future specialist indicates an increase in the value of such values as tolerance and sensitivity, since they are perceived as significant in the context of the fulfillment of their professional functions by the psychologist.
