OSTRACIZED SIGNS OF TEENAGERSʼ AUTO-AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR

Abstract

The article reveals special aspects of the multifaceted adolescent self-harm phenomenon, the connection of self-harming behavior with depression of varying severity. The main attention is directed to the investigation of the self-injury acts causes, realized as a result of weakening of the instinct of self-preservation in combination with depressive affection. The article explores age characteristics of self-harmers in which auto-aggressive behavior initiates self-harming behavior.

In the article, an attempt is made to analyze the emotional, cognitive and behavioral structures of the individual, which influence the peculiarities of the ostracizing processes, as well as the psychological characteristics of people who are subjected to the phenomenon of social rejection. The work covers the main scientific views on the problem of ostracism, its role in the formation of xenophobic tendencies, emotional reactions and states, experiencing ostracizer, the role of psychological protective mechanisms, a sense of fear as the basic emotion of the rejection of "alien" individuals. It is indicated on the interdependence of socio-psychological factors of the environment and the formation of trends of personal rejection.

We can see further consideration of this problem in a more detailed study of the main criteria for xenophobic reactions that arise in the face of the threat of belonging, the alleged devaluation and the denial of relations, аnd the study of the interdependence of the number of open aggression and otracist tendencies in the context of xenophobic manifestations of society.
