Professional journal "Psychology: Reality and Perspectives" adheres to a policy of  Open Access to its published content.

This means:

  • Visibility: Every article becomes available for reading, downloading, and citing by researchers from every corner of the world immediately upon publication.
  • Accelerating Progress: Free access to scientific ideas facilitates the exchange of knowledge between researchers and practicing psychologists, directly impacting the evolution of science.
  • Retention of Rights: Author retains the copyright to their work while granting readers the right to use it under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution International CC BY 4.0 license.

We support the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and believe that the free dissemination of high-quality scientific results is the best way to affirm  professional authority and contribution to psychological science.

Archiving and Long-Term Preservation Policy:

Our journal implements a comprehensive long-term digital preservation strategy to ensure the integrity and permanent open access of every publication.

Where are the articles stored?

To ensure maximum reliability, we employ a distributed archiving system across reputable repositories:

  1. Institutional Repository of Rivne State University of the Humanities (RSUH): All journal issues are primarily deposited in the university archive, maintaining their link with our institution's academic community.
  2. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine: Digital copies of all issues are transferred to the nation's primary scientific fund. This guarantees state-level preservation and integration into the national information space.
  3. Journal Website (OJS Platform): Our website operates according to self-archiving standards, allowing article metadata to be indexed by global scientific networks.

Technical Tools and Availability Guarantees

  • Use of DOI (Digital Object Identifier): Each article is assigned a unique DOI. This ensures that even if the website's URL changes, the link to your article will always remain functional.
  • Open Metadata Standards: We utilize the OAI-PMH protocol, enabling automated systems (such as Google Scholar) to easily discover and index your work.
  • PDF/A Format: Articles are stored in PDF/A format—the international standard for long-term archiving of electronic documents—ensuring identical file rendering regardless of future devices or software.
